Lighthouse Point & Bahamas Itineraries - Released 2024
The Disney Magic will take guests from Fort Lauderdale to a new private Bahamian destination called Lighthouse Point in summer 2024. This destination is built with families in the mind and infused by the color and energy from Bahamian artistsry. It also has a strong commitment to conservation.
In June 2024, Lighthouse Point will host its first sailing. Disney Vacation Club members can sail on two cruises in this period and will enjoy visits to Lighthouse Point, Castaway Cay and both Lighthouse Point during these trips.
Disney Treasure will feature a new adventure theme
In 2024, Disney will add a 6th cruise ship to their fleet called Disney Treasure. This ship will feature Aladdin, Jasmine and a new design that is inspired by adventure.
It will feature a 3-deck atrium inspired from a gilded royal palace. This design is very similar to the Disney Wish. And the ship's Grand Hall will feature a central statue of Aladdin and Jasmine.
More Adventures in Alaska & the Caribbean
Disney will offer sailings on their Disney Wonder to Alaska starting in the summer of 2024. This will allow guests to enjoy more of the state. These itineraries will be available for five, seven, and nine nights and will stop at ports such as Skagway and Ketchikan.
There are many more itineraries planned for Disney Fantasy or Disney Wish. They will take you to the sun-kissed Caribbean and Bahamas islands. These itineraries include a roundtrip from Port Canaveral into the Bahamas with Castaway Cay.
A New Private Bahamas Destination Is On Its Way
This spring, Disney announced plans to develop a second private island in the Bahamas. The new destination is situated on the southern tip Eleuthera. It will be a partnership between Disney's Castaway Cay resort.
Lighthouse Point will become the resort's new name. It will offer family-friendly activities and eco-themed experiences. In addition to offering unique programming, the resort will offer a variety of shore excursions in collaboration with local tour operators.
